I’ve always seen pins for Homemade Bouncy Balls floating around Pinterest and knew it was an activity my 6 year old would love to try out. It’s so much simpler than I thought too.

Ingredients:

¼ cup warm water

1 tablespoon borax

1 tablespoon cornstarch

2 tablespoons glue

optional: food coloring

Recipe:

1) Dissolve 1 tablespoon of borax into ¼ cup warm water

2) Mix cornstarch and glue together. You can add food coloring here if you’d like!

3) Pour glue mixture into the borax solution. Wait 10 seconds and remove glue mixture. Start to roll in a ball and if it’s still too sticky, dip back into the borax solution.

4) After a few minutes it'll start to hold a ball shape and you’re able to bounce it across a table.

5) This is really a recipe for a very firm slime - it will start to almost melt when left alone. Roll back into a ball to play again or store in an airtight container to play another day!
